Celso is qualified both as a barrister and as a solicitor in the UK and as a New York Attorney in the US. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.

Celso is a native Portuguese speaker and speaks English and Spanish fluently. He has been involved in complex Latin American and European insurance and reinsurance disputes, handling Energy, Construction, Marine, Political Risks, Warranties and Indemnities, and D&O matters. Celso has also dealt with back-to-back, non-disclosure and misrepresentation issues in major English High Court reinsurance litigation and in reinsurance arbitrations in the London market.
