Celso qualified as a barrister in 1997 and as a solicitor in 1999 and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. He is also admitted as a New York Attorney in the US. Celso is a native Portuguese speaker and speaks English and Spanish fluently.

He also advised London insurers on substantial contingent business interruption losses at South American car plants.
